1. PAYMENTS
OFFLINE
PAYMENT: you can pay us while collecting your Kava World products (click and
collect option), either at our warehouse (Tagabe) or at YumiWork office (Port
Vila downtown, Lolam building, top floor).
ONLINE
PAYMENT: you can pay as well when placing an online order, with Debit / Credit
cards (Visa, MasterCard). We use SSL to ensure that all our payment information
is submitted securely. SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer, and is the standard
security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and
a browser. We take security seriously –
using SSL ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers
remain private.
2. SHIPPING
We ship all
over the world. Wherever your location, we will try our very best to get Kava
World products to you!
We do not
run on Vanuatu time when it comes to our customer’s satisfaction. For all
orders, we will endeavor to get them to Vanuatu Post Office 1 or 2 days after.
Please bear
in mind that our products are made in the tropical islands of Vanuatu – which
might be a bit further away than you’re used to – so it takes a little bit
longer for parcels to travel all their way across the ocean! That’s one of the
things that make our products so special – made in paradise with natural,
beautiful materials and brought to you from Vanuatu.
We send
parcels by air, using Vanuatu Post Office. Shipping is trackable with EMS
(Express mail Service). If you have any queries, then you can get in touch with
us via email quoting your order reference.
3. RETURNS / REFUNDS
We want you
to be happy with your items so let us know if there are any problems. We can
issue a full refund for damaged items, provided you let us know within 3 days
of receiving the item, with photos.
4. PRIVACY
& GDPR
We care about
your privacy and we don’t share your data with anyone else.
You can
browse our website anonymously; we do not gather any personal information
unless you fill this out on our website to place an order.
GDPR – this
is an EU regulation effective from 25th May 2018, which sets out rules for data
protection and clearer transparency for EU residents and citizens. This gives
control back to users to make sure that their personal data is stored with
consent and handled correctly. We only store your information if you place an
order or sign up to our newsletter, and are happy to give you a copy, update or
delete your information as per your request. We only store information that is
needed to process your order – e.g. name and shipping address, or to contact you
via email. Full details of the data we store can be found below.
How do we

We do not
collect any personal information from you unless you use our website to place
an order. We collect this information electronically when you fill out the
requested details and submit them to us.

Ways we
collect personal information
In order to
process your order, we need to know your name and address so that we can ship
the gift(s) to you. Additionally, we need your email address to contact you to
let you know that your order has been processed, to send you status updates and
to get in touch with you if we need to tell you something about your order.
We do ask
for your phone number but this is just to provide us with a secondary way to
contact you regarding your order. If you do not wish to give us your phone
number you can enter zeros instead into this field.

We do not
share your information with third parties. We only use the information you
provide us to:

process your orders and send you information that you have signed up for.
How can you
update your personal information?
If you sign
up for an account, you can access your personal information any time on the ‘My
Account’ page. You can update the details we hold about you simply by logging
on to your account.
How can you
request a copy/delete your personal information?
If you no
longer wish us to keep your personal information, or you would like a copy of
your personal information, simply contact us and we can send you a copy, delete
your account, unsubscribe you, delete all information as per your wishes. We do
not need our use your data unless you wish to place an order.
5. COOKIES
We use
cookies on our website. Cookies are a reliable mechanism for websites to
remember information, such as which items you add to your cart and whether you
are logged in. They allow us to provide you with a better customer service
experience, by remembering your selections and preferences, such as your
delivery location.
